Fujifilm opens wide format inkjet showroom in Bangkok
In a move set to expand Fujifilm’s presence
in the wide format inkjet market in Asia
Pacific, Fujifilm and their subsidiary, Fujifilm
Sericol opened their Bangkok showroom
recently. This investment will enable printers
across the ASEAN region access to the latest
machines and ink systems as an integral part
of a graphic solutions package. It will also serve
as a local showroom for Fujifilm in Thailand.
In the last two years, Fujifilm has made bold
moves to strengthen their position in the wide
format inkjet sector with acquisitions of
Sericol, Avecia and Dimatix. This integrated
approach has enabled Fujifilm to partner with
equipment manufacturers to develop a broad
range of machines and equipment systems.
These machines are suited to address the
needs of a wide range of printers – from
screen-printing and commercial offset printing
to digital print houses and photolabs. Machines
on display in the Bangkok showroom have
been chosen specifically for the Asia Pacific
region.
According to Jeff Hand, Asia Pacific director,
Fujifilm Sericol, “What Fujifilm companies are
able to offer printers is unique. Fujifilm Sericol
has extensive experience in ink manufacture
as well as selling wide format inkjet printers.
Fujifilm companies have a spread of distributors
who understand the key print technologies.
The new facility in Bangkok enables customers
within the region to experience this
first-hand.”
