LG Chem India launches new range of printable vinyl

LG Chem India Pvt Ltd has launched new
range of printable vinyl during the recent
channel partners and converters meet in New
Delhi, providing common platform where right
from the manufacturers to the end users could
interact with each other facilitating to educate
the manufacturers about the needs of the
customers and to educate the converters
about right application of the product.
The programme was presided over by SW

Alok Bharadwaj gets ‘seniorship’ at Canon India
|

The Canon India vice president, Alok Bharadwaj,
has been promoted as senior VP by Canon Asia
headquarters. He will be responsible for the five
divisions including the recently started Corporate
Sales division, which plans to handle the
corporate imaging and information products. All
the five divisional directors shall report to him
and the company will expand its total sales and
marketing force in 2008 to around 350 people
across these five divisions.

Enhanced Service Programme for VUTEk superwide printers

EFI has developed an Enhanced Service
Programme (ESP) designed to customise
support to meet a wide range of customer
needs for its VUTEk product line of superwide
dye sublimation, solvent and UV inkjet printers.
This three-tiered contractual programme is
available from January 2008 to both existing
and new VUTEk customers.

Avery Dennison organises training sessions

Avery Dennison (India) Pvt Limited recently
organised a training sessions in Mumbai,
Bangalore and New Delhi, steered by David
Newman, Avery Dennison technical support
manager South Asia - based in Sydney,

technical training.

Fujifilm opens wide format inkjet showroom in Bangkok

In a move set to expand Fujifilm’s presence
in the wide format inkjet market in Asia
Pacific, Fujifilm and their subsidiary, Fujifilm
Sericol opened their Bangkok showroom
recently. This investment will enable printers
across the ASEAN region access to the latest
machines and ink systems as an integral part
of a graphic solutions package. It will also serve
as a local showroom for Fujifilm in Thailand.
In the last two years, Fujifilm has made bold
moves to strengthen their position in the wide
format inkjet sector with acquisitions of
Sericol, Avecia and Dimatix.
