Cosign India Unveils New Office And Warehouse In Pune
Along with a newly designed experience centre for customers to touch & feel Cosign products
A new space where creativity meets innovation in the world of signage materials, Cosign India has unveiled its experience centre SIGN STUDIO situated strategically on Lavasa Link Road at Taluka Mulshi in Pune. Opening of this new studio at a new location opens up a new opportunity for Cosign India’s customers to explore and experience the latest modular signage solutions, who afterwards engage with new materials and systems in the newly opened space built to inspire and collaborate.
Telling about the main motive behind the opening of the new warehouse and office along with specialized experience centre “SIGN STUDIO”, Tejasa Purandare, CEO, Cosign India Pvt Ltd, says, “Since our inception in 2010, we have been managing our warehouse in a separate location and office in a centrally located site. As we grew exponentially over the years, we needed to be at one place with bigger space to stock all our products and solutions, and have an experience centre where our customers and partners can come to experience the products in a much better way—this is the whole idea of opening our new warehouse and office containing the experience centre.”
Cosign India’s new location is composed of a warehouse of 12,000sqft and an office space of 8,500sqft. “Our new warehouse is expandable to double the size, which means we can make it 24,000sqft in the future. Similarly, our new office space is scalable up to four floors further,” tells Tejasa. She adds, “With the addition of a new line of machinery and stock level of our products being gone up, Cosign India is set to offer our customers a whole new opportunity to experience and grab fresh choices of products and solutions.”
Tejasa continues, “Now, with the opening of the new premises we ideally have enough space where, at any point of time, we can stock at least 150+ tonnes of aluminium profiles in the new warehouse, which is located right behind our office.” Currently, Cosign India imports barely 10 percent of products from its Belgium headquarters while the rest is manufactured in India. According to Tejasa, they import the products because they are now building the market for the few new signage materials in India.
Moving ahead on the sustainability front, Cosign India is making their new office a green-certified facility. “We have built this facility in a sustainable manner, hoping to get the green certificate soon. Even in terms of sustainability of our products, we have our “Replana” system which is made out of recycled chip packets, now demonstrated in the studio; likewise, some other products in our portfolio are made out of 100 percent recycled acrylic sheets,” informs Tejasa, adding, “E-Art is yet another latest innovation that blends with sustainability. Run through an app, it’s crafted with premium-quality aluminium frame, powered by E-Paper that consumes power only when image is changed.”
With the landmark unveiling of the new office and warehouse, Cosign India is targeting to increase nearly 50–60 percent of production volume. Tejasa adds that the opening of SIGN STUDIO is coinciding with the launch of Cosign’s own LED brand LucoLed, which the company started working on 4 to 5 months back.
“With our bigger space for storage at the new warehouse, we are now fully gearing up to stock better and higher volume of LucoLED products. In addition, it’s time for us to hire some prominent distributors as channel partners who can feasibly take care of supplying the new LED products across the country,” says Tejasa. She conclusively mentions that SIGN STUDIO as of now is the only single centre in India for supplying products and inviting customers for hands-on experience of Cosign products & solutions, but the company’s plan down the line is to open more such strategic centres in more major cities across the country.
