Luxmi Graphic, Young & forward looking
Relatively a young signage player in Chandigarh, Luxmi Graphic situated in the city’s strategic Sector-17 area is an all-time crowded sign-making corner. Vivek Singh, young and enthusiastic proprietor of Luxmi Graphic says they have been in the market over the last five years. “We indulge in all sorts of printing including commercial, large-format, map plotting, etc. Well, when it comes to large-format we are taking care of it using a lone but capable ColorJet IRISJET PRO, 3.2m roll-to-roll machine, supplied and installed by IPC,” mentions Vivek.
He adds, “Most of the current list of customers of Luxmi Graphic is predominantly consisted of walk-in customers, particularly from different market segments or business backgrounds. The list includes a handful of local shops, departmental stores and many individuals who have been our repeat customers for years.” A team of 10 staff, including graphic designers, machine operators, is the vital back-up for Luxmi Graphic to deliver print outputs on-time to the utmost satisfaction of their customers.
Vivek mentions that they are now offering all sorts of printing, such as labels, stickers and map plotting (using an HP system), mementoes, etc. However, the company’s plans down the line for expansion of machine portfolio is to integrate some newer technologies and advanced machines. In this, Vivek conclusively mentions that UV technology will be the next-level plan for Luxmi Graphic to add new innovative spark and glow to graphics.
Meera Graphics, Far beyond ordinariness
Meera Graphics, a corner tagged with ‘Print Factory’, is not just a sign maker or signage printer in an ordinary sense. In this respect, Aarush Gupta, Proprietor of Meera Graphics, narrates, “Our work culture and customers’ profiles are little different from the so-called flex printing companies. We make POP/POS solutions such as standees, menus, etc.” So, most of the works and activities of Meera Graphics are predominantly for in-store, eating outlet, shop-in-shop display and corporate interior solutions.”
In terms of the company’s presence in the printing industry, Aarush says they have been around for more than four decades. “Meera Graphics is an outcome of efforts and dedication of a lineage of generations. For me, it’s really proud to be a young generation taking care of the business. Literally, our establishment is dated back to 1983. Since then we have been into printing business engaging in all jobs, but we are very specific into interior display and promotional solutions today,” tells Aarush.
All the vigour in the works and graphic print outputs of Meera Graphics is an outcome of its rigorous machine portfolio and manpower. The machine portfolio consists of ColorJet POLO HQ, Roland TrueVIS VG-640, and HP Latex 335 as key printers, backed by a team of 30 well-trained and experienced printing professionals. Aarush mentions that apart from domestic clients, Meera Graphics works for some offshore clients too.
Om Flex & Digital Printers, A destination signage centre
Being a source of complete signage solutions for jobbers from all over the region, Om Flex & Digital Printers has been a destination signage centre. With a strong team of 15 signage printing, designing and making experts, led by two business partners, Om Prakash and Pawan Mahajan, Om Flex & Digital Printers started its business journey in the year 2013. “Since our establishment, we had a vision to become a one-stop source of signage graphics and solutions for jobbers in the region,” shares Om Prakash, Business Partner, Om Flex & Digital Printers.
“Most of the jobbers, who are our regular and long-term clients from different cities and towns across north India, are established signage solution suppliers and dealers for big customers dotted in diverse sectors. So, working with these prolific jobbers is just an excitement and fun to offer them quality print graphics to the demands of imminent brands and companies. Most of the clients for which our jobbers are working are predominantly from the public (government) and corporate sectors,” mentions Om.
Om further mentions that they are capable to meet the rigorous demands and desire of premium graphic prints from our jobbers, precisely for their big customers like Cipla, Max Healthcare, Honda, Chandigarh University…, because of the robust machine portfolio. He adds, “We are privileged to be partnered with IPC, supplier of some of our key machines in our facility, for highly capable printers like ColorJet POLO TURBO with KM 512i printheads,” mentions Om. In addition to the highly versatile ColorJet machine, Om Flex & Digital Printers’ facility is equipped with an HP Latex 300, yet another versatile and advanced printer for all quality print applications.
Vishvas Sales, Authentic media supplier
Over the last five years or so, Vishvas Sales has been an authentic source of supply for media of all qualities and textures. Aashish K Garg, Proprietor of Vishvas Sales Pvt Ltd, recalls, “It was in the year 2016 we just emerged as supplier of some select media for sign makers and print service providers in the region. Since then we keep expanding our product portfolio with constant edition of new products, not only printing materials but also inks, LED modules, SMPS and many allied products.”
As on today, Vishvas Sales is a complete solution provider of whole consumables and other materials. When it comes to media available in stocks at the company’s procurement centre, Aashish mentions that they primarily keep standard brands like Staflex, Utraflex, Jindal, and others. “Ultraflex is one of the most demanded products in our portfolio.” In the ink racks, AT Inks and UNI Inks are some common choices of Vishvas Sales’ customers.
Collectively, Vishvas Sales supplies 4-5 containers of printing media a month to more than 500 customers across Chandigarh, Punjab and J&K. A brainchild of two prolific and dedicated entrepreneurs cum printing professionals, Somnath Aggarwal and Devender Vashishtha, Hanu Multimedia Pvt Ltd was incepted in the year 2027, but incorporated as a private company in 2016. “We have come across various phases in our sign making business. As of now, what we are too conscious is of embracing machines and technologies which are sustainable, future-proof and ultimate tools for quality printing,” emphasises Somnath Aggarwal, Director, Hanu Multimedia Pvt Ltd.
