Silicon Infotech delivers India’s first HandTop HT5000UV to Signext Display Systems

Silicon Infotech, a sole distributor of HandTop in India, has delivered India’s first HandTop HT5000UV to Navi Mumbai-based Signext Display Systems. The two companies have been in close relationship since last one decade or so and the newly installed HandTop HT5000UV is the third HandTop machine from Silicon Infotech at Signext Display Systems.

First a HandTop UV hybrid machine, followed by a 3m HandTop roll-to-roll, and the latest being the 5m HandTop HT5000UV, Signext Display Systems has so far invested in three HandTop machines from Silicon Infotech. “Despite being the third HandTop machine from Silicon Infotech in our production facility, we are proud be India’s first installer of HandTop HT5000UV,” says Hrushikesh Kelkar, Director, Signext Display Systems Pvt Ltd.

He continues, “We add the HT5000UV to our facility, especially for production of high-quality outdoor displays and expo graphics. This machine’s robustness, stability and compatibility with a wide variety of media are some unique attributes which impressed us in the first place. With this 5m (16ft) grand-format printer, we are now empowered to produce life-sized outdoor banners, billboards and many such applications.”

HandTop HT5000UV is a highly advanced UV roll-to-roll printer equipped with industrial-grade piezoelectric Kyocera printheads with variable drop sizes ranging from 4, 6 up to 10 pL, which makes the printer capable to deliver incredibly crispy print outputs. Perfectly engineered to run at speed up to 1200 sqft/hr in backlit quality mode, this machine can be configured with maximum 12 Kyocera printheads. The machine’s colour gamut covers CMYK/LC LM and option for white ink.
