Seiko Epson has won 2022 Red Dot Awards in the product design category for its SD-10 spectrophotometer and EPSON SL-D1000 series of commercial photo printers. The company launched the SD-10 in December 2021— a highly accurate, compact and affordable colour measurement device, equipped with a MEMS Fabry-Perot tunable filter developed by EPSON. PSPs can use it to digitize colour matching, a conventionally time-consuming part of printing done manually, and link it with a smartphone or cloud service to centrally manage colour information for smoother printing process. Pocket-sized and portable, it allows them to measure colours anytime, anywhere. SL-D1000 Series photo printers are loaded with features that professional photofinishing services need. It’s the sixth consecutive year that Seiko Epson Corporation has won Red Dot Awards in the product design category.
