EFI’s VUTEk receives two prestigious awards
Coveted Manufacturing/ Technology 2008 Business of the Year and
“Lean and Green” Awards recognize EFI VUTEk’s contributions to the
environment, local economy and community.
EFI, a leader in customer focused digital printing innovation, announced that its VUTEk
business has received two prestigious awards in competitions sponsored by Business NH
magazine. The company was recognized as the Manufacturing/Technology 2008 Business
of the Year for its contributions to the local economy and its support of the local community.
EFI’s VUTEk BioVu line of inks was also recognized in the ‘Lean and Green’ competition as
the top product or service that helps businesses and people to be greener.
According to Scott Schinlever, vice president and general manager of EFI- Inkware, the
EFI division that develops innovative inks for its products and those of third parties, “It is
a reaffirmation of the importance of EFI’s dedication to reducing its environmental footprint
and that of its customers. Since BioVu inks are a biologically-based product that contains a
solvent derived from corn, they reduce dependency on oil reserves, to be supposed safer
for the environment and protect workers’ health.”
