Apsom Technologies has recently unveiled three
new products for the wide-format industry viz.
Dye Sublimation System DSS 1600; Flora UV
flatbed printer F1 180UV Turbo; and Flora LJ
3200SW solvent inkjet printer.
The DSS machine is versatile and easy to operate,
gives vibrant output for dye sublimation
application. After printing while the fabric passes
through heating elements, it cures the inks and
at the same time brings out the vibrancy of inks.
The application for this technology includes
signage, flags & banners, upholstery, home dιcor
etc. The whole system is designed with modern
technology and ease of operation. The fume extractor comes as a
standard equipment, thereby keeping the work space healthier.
While F1-1800UV Turbo produces graphic prints suitable for both indoor
and outdoor applications. With its gray scales feature, variable drop
sizes produce an apparent resolution of more than 1200 dpi and true
binary resolution of 1200 dpi. Thus, this printer meets the photographic
crisp and clear image quality requirements of most indoor graphics.
And for outdoor
applications, of
course, the UV
curable inks
offer excellent
fade resistance
properties. It has
the versatility to
print on roll and
many different
rigid media at a
high speed of 320
sq ft per hour.
The other

printer, with 12 Piezo-electric drop-on-demand printheads from
Spectra. An array of Spectra Skywalker print heads supports
resolutions up to 600dpi and features a total of 128 individually
accessible channels driven from a single piezoelectric crystal,
providing excellent channel-to-channel uniformity. This results in
excellent dot placement accuracy and meeting the photographic
radiance and clear image quality requirements of signs, banners
and outdoor graphics even at an excellent high speed of
1262 sq ft per hour.
