Announced by Metamark India, MetaCast® MDC XR™ is now available in the country. This new 50 micron premium cast printable vinyl wrap film is engineered for high performance vehicle applications. The film’s advanced MetaGlide® XR™ adhesive system is designed to optimise repositionability and adhesion to accelerate installation.
With its features like micro-channel air-release technology, allowing installers to work more efficiently, MetaCast® MDC XR™ film provides outstanding reliability when conforming into 3D channels and recesses, giving complete confidence even on the most demanding surfaces. This newly launched MetaCast printable vinyl vehicle wrap film with XR adhesive technology gives installers the total confidence when fitting into 3D channels and recesses whilst delivering exceptional print results and vibrancy for impactful branding solutions.
Compatible with solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV printing technologies, MetaCast® MDC XR™ is perfectly matched to MetaGuard MGC Overlaminate Series. With REACH & RoHS Compliant, this newly launched premium MetaCast printable vinyl vehicle wrap film is self-extinguishing when its fire rating is concerned.
Available in roll widths of 1370mm/1600mm, MetaCast® MDC XR™ is designed for long-term dimensional stability. This new cast wrap film from Metamark India is guaranteed for 5-year durability, 2-year shelf life, and MetaSure® warranty. Under the MetaSure® warranty, Metamark warrants to its customers that graphics produced using Metamark media and overlaminates will remain in good condition without excessive fading or colour degradation for the specified life time of the ink used, when correctly stored, printed and applied in accordance with procedures outlined in the technical literature.
If Metamark media and overlaminates become ineffective for its intended use, then Metamark will provide sufficient material to produce a new replacement marking, and will at its own discretion, and contribute an allowance in additional material towards the costs involved in replacing the graphics. In all cases, the installer is held fully responsible for storing, processing and applying the unconverted materials in accordance with Metamark’s technical specifications.
When it comes to printing and handling of MetaCast® MDC XR™, Metamark India advices installers to always perform a test print first, ensuring that the correct profiles and heater settings are used. They (installers) are also strongly instructed to ensure the material has reached room temperature and a relative humidity of 50 percent before printing. It’s also advised not to handle the face film, making it free from dust and static. In this, overlamination is recommended to prevent abrasion, extend colour fastness, and also offer easier handling. The matched laminate for MetaCast® MDC XR™ is MetaGuard MGC Series.
