Emerging Graphics emerges as provider of cutting-edge cut sign solutions
Emerging Graphics, which initially marked its excellence in providing exceptional solutions for the packaging industry, has now emerged as a provider of unconventional cut sign and promotional display solutions. Technological prowess behind this progression is iECHO intelligent cutting system. Tushar Pande, Director of Emerging Graphics (I) Pvt Ltd, talks to Sign & Graphics sharing the company’s journey into the signage arena.
Emerging Graphics came into being in the year 2013 with its focus on the packaging market and forayed into the signage segment in 2017 with the supply of iECHO TK4S wide format cutting system for crafting cut sign solutions that sign convertors found precise, incisive, and unconventional. “We currently deal in four models of iECHO cutting systems, among which, the TK4S is the one suitably designed and engineered for signage applications,” mentions Tushar.
“We have our demo center in Navi Mumbai where we have installed the iECHO TK4S of 3.5m x 2.7m which has all sets of advanced features like diversified cutting tools, automatic tool changing, automatic feeding, etc,” further mentions Tushar, adding that the machine is equipped with automation that eventually increases efficiency. He continues, “Being the Indian representative of the Chinese company iECHO, we are proud to be the first in the country to set up a demo facility.”
In addition, Emerging Graphics’ demo center is also equipped with KingT scanning digital scanning corrugated printer, which features EPSON I3200-A1 inkjet printhead, uses water-based dye ink and water-based pigment waterproof ink. The demo center welcomes customers who wish to get the first-hand experience of both the machines, iECHO TK4S and KingT, which are compatible with diverse materials. In this respect, Tushar states that the iECHO TK4S can take in broadest range of materials such as acrylic, MDF, fabrics, leather, and many complex materials. “This cutter is not just cutting the materials but also engraving and polishing using its automatic tools. Same holds true with KingT when it comes to its media flexibility,” he adds.
For signage companies, iECHO TK4S is highly capable to handle rigid materials. So far, Emerging Graphics has installed seven machines of this model across India. For sign convertors, complementing the iECHO TK4S is the EngView software suite for structural design and production of signage and display solutions. This software suite has been supplied by Emerging Graphics since 2013. It saves time, provides accuracy by avoiding hit & trial, back & forth methods, which usually result in wastage.
“Integrated with Adobe Illustrator, EngView software suite helps signage professionals visualise the 3D model of their works with the product inside and apply graphics to the structure,” mentions Tushar, adding that the software’s new Step and Repeat functionality that multiplies the one-up design over the layout directly in Illustrator and graphic designers at signage companies can generate production files with high-resolution graphic images.
With its head office in Mumbai, Emerging Graphics operates across the country through two branches in New Delhi and Bengaluru, backed by a team of 20 staff. The company also boasts a strong and dedicated after-sales service team of highly-skilled engineers who are active and always in touch with the principals’ places for getting trained to know the latest upgrades and features ofi ECHO TK4S as well as KingT and EngView.
