Messe Frankfurt India joins hands with Showcase Trade Fairs and Business Media to organise ‘PrintExpo’

‘PrintExpo’ – one of South India’s popular and biggest trade shows focusing on the printing, packaging, signage and advertising segment, will now be organised by Messe Frankfurt India in collaboration with Showcase Trade Fairs and Business Media.

With 25+ years of experience in the Indian market, Messe Frankfurt India will further strengthen the position of PrintExpo by leveraging its intelligence, worldwide network, trusted brand name, operational excellence and streamlined processes developed domestically and internationally over the years. The upcoming 13th edition of PrintExpo will be held from August 3–5, 2023 at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai.

The 13th edition of the expo will mark the first PrintExpo with the involvement of Messe Frankfurt India. The expo is projected to evolve as a robust platform displaying cutting-edge technological innovations in machinery, processes and products, to meet the burgeoning demands arising from the e-commerce and economic developments. Printing and packaging solutions are the indispensable needs of every industry, except for those whose products and services are consumed digitally like the entertainment industry. Product manufacturers and brands are consistently hunting for cost-effective, creative, qualitative and sustainable solutions in the areas of printing, packaging, designing, advertising and related domains.

Summa to introduce Board Feeder at FESPA 2023 Munich

At FESPA 2023 Munich, Summa is introducing the Board Feed Pro 75, a new board feeder to load sheets automatically onto the F1612 flatbed cutter. It is designed to process cardboard, printed sheets and other graphic materials. In addition to that, the feeder is also compatible with materials such as UV printed foam PVC boards and more typical sign and display materials. Using the feeding system, the printed volumes to process can go up, which reduces the cost per copy. Moreover, the F1612 keeps its flexibility thanks to the easy roll in and roll out design of the feeder.The Cobot ensures that the cut material is collected without operator intervention. It is able to recognise different designs and sort them as required.


Vastex introduces new dryers for DTG and water-based inks

Vastex International has expanded its line of energy-efficient dryers for curing of direct-to-market (DTG)-printed inks and pre-treatment and water-based screen-printed inks and discharge. The new Lo-E1D model with 46 cm long heating chamber and 2.85 kW of power draws 12.5 amps at 230V, curing up to 23 garments/hour printed with digital white ink at 3 minutes dwell time, or 64 garments/h with DTG pre-treatment only or water-based inks at one minute dwell time, says a source from the company.The new Lo-E3D modelwith 132 cm long heating chamber and 6.35 kW of power draws 38 amps at 230V, or just 10 amps at 400V, 3 phase, and cures up to 64 garments/h with digital white ink at 3 minutes dwell time, or 180 garments/h with DTG pretreatment or water-based inks at one minute dwell time.
