HP Latex technology is pushing the bar of fleet graphics to a new level. A big example is the wrapping of the Kochi Water Metro boats by Zoom Innovation which used an HP Latex 335 printer to produce the catchy crisp graphics. Equipped with the ultramodern technologies like HP Latex to deliver high-quality prints with zeal in graphics, Zoom Innovation is one of the top performers in Kerala’s signage and graphic arts market.

Zoom Innovation wrapped eight electric hybrid boats in the first phase of Kochi Water Metro project, which is funded by the Government of Kerala and Germany’s KfW Development Bank. The water fleet will increase to 78 boats, plying from 38 terminals connecting 10 islands in and around the port city of Kochi. The first phase begins from High Court-Vypin terminals and Vyttila-Kakkanad terminals.

Manufactured by Cochin Shipyard Limited, the electric hybrid boats of Kerala’s ‘dream project’ are touted to be eco-friendly, electrically propelled, safe for differently-abled commuters and wrapped uniquely with stunning graphics produced on an HP Latex 335 printer. Colourfully wrapped boats with wide windows sail offering an exotic view of the backwaters.

Fleet graphics produced on HP Latex technology stand unique as Latex inks are the most flexible inks in the market. Single set of Latex inks can be used for variety of applications and due to its inherent property Latex ink doesn’t show crack even after 100 percent stretch. When executing applications like Kochi Water Metro boats wraps, specialty materials are needed to take the shape of curvatures and HP Latex ink goes well along with it.
