A start-up culture at crossroads of people & workspace

The ethos of Talentica is built on putting their heart into a product, enabling collaboration and taking shots, missing most and acing a few. The challenge was to re-imagine the business in their workspace, where they can begin their evolution to gain the most value while remaining a client-centric business.


The space of Talentica needed to reflect the kind of place that is comfortable in its skin and doesn’t care a lot about getting it right or wrong, as long as it is getting there.

Challenge & Approach

The challenge was to create a space inspired by its mercurial spirit and inviting people to approach problems innovatively. With an approach to build a creative and stimulating space, it was inspired from start-up culture that encouraged cross-pollination of ideas, pushing boundaries and freewheeling of ideas.

Beginning on a positive & colourful note

It is said that good beginnings made a day. So a creative installation at the entrance painted a canvas of colour and positivity with a difference. It impressed guests and clients as they entered Talentica terrain, urged them to click pictures, leaving behind a memorable impact. For employees, it set the tone for a positive day, every day.

Making meeting ground richer & more fun

Meeting rooms at Talentica are crafted like a freewheeling space – a garage, a basement or a backyard garden: open to experimentation and thinking free. To complement these innovative thinking zones, new and rough materials like peg boards, metal sheets, wood, rough texture canvas were used to achieve the ‘basement and worn-out garage’ look right. To further enhance the mindset of raw and fresh ideas, the walls were made of rough concrete and white brick texture.

Meeting rooms that echo bold beliefs

Each meeting room translated the company’s ethos through unique names, vibrant colours and patterns derived from Unicode symbols used in computer languages.

Creating space for heavy discussions in light refreshing spaces

The conference rooms played with a clean and unobtrusive space that allowed minds to think on a blank canvas. They were splashed it with simple words that had a slight philosophical twist and inspiring meaning. Further, the conference rooms were kept minimalistic with keyboard keys arranged in a crossword format in a metallic tray. This was coupled with graphics to enhance the abstraction.

Taking flights of inspiration

Every office space is enhanced by spaces that break out of the formal zone and usher in a sense of doing something offbeat and unique. To keep the focus and inspire people to think imaginatively, an image of the very first airplane designed by Wright Brothers kept the pioneering spirit alive.

Fuelling fresh thoughts

To unwind, the café recreated an informal relaxed zone – a place to fuel awesome thoughts with great food and a greater ambience, the perfect recipe for whipping up a good time. Inspired by a modern-day American café, the double-storey elevation was maximised by creating a highway look and allowed conversations to not only be born but to grow bigger and better.

The recreational area created a zone inspired by the sports bar. Styled as the Talentica United Club, it celebrated team spirit and encouraged employees to take part in extra-curricular activities. Iconic sports moments and a graphic style added tons of character to the planks of wood. Buoyed by free-flowing ideas in a modern workplace, today Talentica encourages cross-pollination of ideas, pushing boundaries and freewheeling of ideas.
