ColorJet unpacks futuristic EARTH Series for susta inable textile printing

ColorJet Group launched EARTH Series textile printer—a new sustainable pigment printing solution—on the first day of India ITME 2022 held from December 8-13 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi- NCR.

Madhu Sudan Dadu, Chairman, ColorJet Group along with Seiji Nakashima, Vice President of Inkjet Components Division, Konica Minolta Inc and Shu Watanabe, Group Leader of Inkjet Components Business Unit, Konica Minolta Inc, unwrapped the new ColorJet EARTH Series textile printing solutions at ITME 2022.

“ColorJet EARTH Series is an advance sustainable solution in the digital textile printing segment. This new process does not require additional equipment for pre- and posttreatment. By way of eliminating pre- and posttreatment, this has led to huge saving of water and energy, and it provides competitive edge in sustainable direct-to-fabric (DTF) printing category,” said MS Dadu.

ColorJet EARTH Series comes with three models— 32, 16 and 8 inkjet systems powered by Konica Minolta (KM) printheads. The series has been engineered with inspiration from the success of pigment solutions, operating successfully across the globe in the different textile printing markets of India, Germany, Brazil, Vietnam, Pakistan and other textile clusters.

With the launch of the new futuristic EARTH Series, ColorJet is now all set to lead the sustainable pigment printing category. The series will provide sustainable print solution in textiles including extensive applications like fashion apparels, kids wear, home furnishing and many other segments.


ColorJet appoints Arun Varshney
as head of textile business

ColorJet has appointed Arun Varshney as Vice President and Business Head of Textile Business. He came from Voltas Limited, a Tata Enterprises division, where he worked as textile engineer, managing operations through a team of sales and service managers, customer relationship management, B2B textile solutions, etc. With vast experience of more than 28 years in the textile industry, Arun is a certified Tata Business Excellence Assessor and also certified in effective personal productivity, relationship management, and conflict management, team building, and so on.

MS Dadu said, “We welcome Arun to ColorJet Family. With his vast experience in key markets across multiple functions, we are immensely hopeful that he would add huge value to our textile business.
