Sign Today 2008 was a perfect amalgamation of business
activities and new launches. Exhibitors displayed latest trends and
technologies and also demonstrated the existing innovations.
Consequently, it was a big hit for exhibitors and visitors…both!
Sign Today 2008, the 14th international
show for indoor and outdoor advertising
(28-30 March 2008, Pragati Maidan, New
Delhi) has grown much in its strength, as
compared to the previous edition in New Delhi.
Most exhibitors felt that this was the only show
that had good number of visitors from outside
Delhi. Having registered a record turnout of
visitors from South India, and total footfall of
around nine thousand visitors, out of which,
nearly half the number belongs to sign industry
professionals.
The exhibition witnessed the demos of leading
brands of the industry, which included big wigs
like HP, Roland, ColorJet, Infiniti, Graphtec,
Yeuming Laser, DGI, ASE, VIP, DCS, GCC,
Woodpecker, Mutoh, Apsom, Pioneer, Aver,
Dee Cee, Polyfix, JHF, Desmat, Gongzheng,
Starflex, Mimaki, Leister, etc. There were also
direct participations from China and Taiwan.
Pioneer Polyleathers launched their
indigenous flex and were overwhelmed with
response. The Dream Design stand was a
true crowd-puller, as it was attractive and
innovatively designed by the display of 3D
theming products.
The other announcements include Gerber
Solara Ion by Arrow Digital; launch of Color
Jet Zeus by Apsom, dynamic full colour LED
modules by Dee Cee lighting.
The trademark of Buysell to bring in quality
business visitors from every nook and corner
was proved yet again with visitors to the show
not only from all parts of India but also from
Nepal, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, South Africa and
Dubai.
The next edition of this signage and advertising
expo will be held under the banner “IMAGE
TODAY 2008,” which is scheduled to be held
in Chennai (India) from July 25-27.
