First Asia-Pacific HP Indigo Centre of Excellence… seeing is believing

Graphic arts professionals across Asia-Pacific can now experience HP’s full compliment of digital presses and alliance technologies in action in a realistic setting at the HP Indigo Centre of Excellence, a 4,500 square foot demonstration and training centre which opened recently in Singapore.

New centre has affirmed HP’s commitment to the graphic arts industry by showcasing HP Indigo digital presses and alliance technologies in real-life settings. VS Hariharan, VP of Graphic Arts Business, HP Imaging and Printing Group, Asia Pacific & Japan said, “The best way for graphic arts professionals to understand the full scope of HP Indigo’s end-to-end solutions is to experience them first hand – seeing is believing. With the opening of this centre for the Asia-Pacific region, HP is providing an opportunity for graphic arts professionals to experience hands-on print demonstrations of our end-to-end solutions, from prepress to finished, in the commercial and industrial printing space.”

The centre focuses on four main areas - commercial printing, photo specialty, direct mail and label converters. Its goal is to show commercial printers, photo application providers, direct mail houses and label and packaging printers how to establish their digital difference across a range of specialties. At the centre, professionals will experience the depth and flexibility offered by the end-to-end solutions developed by HP Indigo and its collaborating companies, which have been widely adopted by the industry.

The HP Indigo Centre of Excellence features more than 20 solutions and will provide training as well as practical demonstrations and testing. The centre also aims to champion collaboration between local and regional experts in developing solutions designed to meet the specific needs of graphic arts professionals in Asia-Pacific. “Commercial and industrial print service providers will also have a chance to benefit from the centre’s activities and learn about new business opportunities. This clearly demonstrates HP’s strong commitment to lead in the region’s graphic arts and digital publishing industry,” concluded Hariharan.
