Printech installs 3rd VUTEk solvent-based printer

Printech recently installed VUTEk UltraVu II 3360 FC superwide format digital printer at their premises in Hyderabad. The UltraVu II 3360 FC three-meter roll-to-roll printer delivers the best image quality and most productivity in its class. Chandigarh gets 2nd VUTEk printer

Hindustan Advertising has installed VUTEk UltraVu II 3360 FC superwide format digital Printer at their premises in Chandigarh. This happens to be the second VUTEK printer installed in Chandigarh.

Engineered for both high-speed and high-quality printing, the UltraVu II 3360 four colour printer achieves print speeds up to 1095 sqft/hr with the new Rapid Return feature, included in VUTEk’s latest software version.

Printech installs 2nd VUTEk QS2000 UV-curing flatbed inkjet

Printech, Bangalore has recently installed VUTEk QS2000 UV-curing digital flatbed inkjet printer at their premises. This is the latest addition to VUTEk’s popular family of UV-curing flatbed digital inkjet printers. The VUTEk QS2000 is the first in an all-new category of printers that combine EFI’s production and workflow management technologies with the market-leading digital print capabilities of its VUTEk superwide format printers.

The VUTEk QS2000 prints superior image quality on both rigid and flexible substrates up to two inches (5.08 cm) thick and up to 80 inches (2 meters) wide. This printer produces brilliant six-colour imaging and has a special seventh white ink channel for new and creative applications. It prints at stunning speed of up to 750 square feet (70 square meters) per hour on roll-to-roll substrates, or up to 16 (4’x8’) boards per hour.

More Jeti installations

Demand for the Jeti printers is increasing globally and now it has entered the untouched markets also. Recently Superwide Digital, the sales and service division for Gandinnovations Jeti printers in the African market has announced the sale of four new Jeti printers in the Nigerian market and two in the Republic of Benin.

The Jeti 5000, now available in the Jeti 5024 model with 24 Spectra printheads, the most recent in the growing line of Jeti printers from Gandinnovations, was acquired by Pomat Peters in Lagos. Its successful installation spurred the acquisition of a second 24-spectra head, 6-colour 3.2 meter Jeti 3324 printer. The Jeti 5000 is a 5-meter, 6-colour spectra head printer acquired by Arizona Trading, managed by Mel Todd, will be installed alongside a Jeti 3318 printer at their company site in Lagos. The 18-head, 6-colour, 3.2-meter printer will run high-speed 300 dpi prints.

Finally, Alfa Group has also installed a Jeti 3324 printer, with a speed of over 100 sqmt per hour to satisfy the demand for high quality large format digital prints in the Nigerian market. Besides, Concept Starlight, managed by Andre Zekpa, became the first Jeti owner in the Republic of Benin acquiring a Jeti 3312 in March 2006. Coricom, managed by Franck Dossa, is one of the largest outdoor contractors in Benin. The company also opted for a Jeti 3312, which has been installed by Superwide Digital recently. The 3.3 meter wide printer is equipped with 12 high performance spectra printheads.
