Xaar approves Agfa Graphics’ UV-curable ink set for use with its OmniDot 760 printhead
Agfa Graphics announced recently that Xaar
has approved one of Agfa’s UV-curable inks
for use with Xaar’s innovative OmniDot 760
printhead, which was co-developed between
both companies. Agfa Graphics developed the
Xaar range of UV-curable general purpose inks
specifically to achieve effective jetting of
vibrant and lightfast colours and guarantee
high-quality, durable results for a wide range
of indoor and outdoor applications.
Formulated using high-quality pigments with
high fade-resistance, the ink ensures longlasting
results in outdoor applications. Its fastcuring
capability enables high-productivity and
offers excellent adhesion and a tough, scratchresistant
finish on a wide range of rigid and
flexible substrates. This makes the ink set the
ideal choice for both internal and external
graphics, such as banner and signage printing,
POS, vehicle and exhibition graphics as well
as backlit graphics and window displays.
