Cheerful ‘3M Channel
Partner Meet 2010’ concluded


Held against the backdrop of rich cultural heritage of Jaipur city, the three-day event of ‘3M Commercial Graphics Channel Partner Meet 2010’ imbued with a complete extravaganza to amuse the crowd of 130 participants gathered at The Shiv Vilas Resort in Jaipur (Rajasthan) from August 13-15, 2010. Organised alongside the annual meet was the ecstatic celebration of 3M Graphics’ 20 Years in India. SIGN & GRAPHICS catches a glimpse of the series of gratifying sessions of the meet.


The three-day event of ‘3M Channel Partner Meet 2010’ marked the presence of special invitee Chris TP Chen, Asia Pacific marketing manager, 3M Singapore along with the entire team of 3M India Commercial Graphics. Rather than a business meet, the event turned out as a triumph of the company’s long innings of relationship and trusted partnership that has been lasting a span of two decades.

The first day of the event was a curtain raiser unfolded with the arrival of guests who broke the ice by introducing and networking each other over a cocktail dinner to set the tone for the following two days. Adding more splendour to the ambience of the party was sublime gazal performance at the venue. On the second day, a pure business session was conducted with talks delivered by key business leaders, stressing on the company’s strategies and visions.

K A Appiah, general manager, 3M Commercial Graphics Division, 3M India opened the day’s programmes by welcoming the partners and outlining the division.

Strategic plans

Sunil Muralidharan, marketing & business development manager, Display & Graphics Bangalore Unit, 3M India detailed the marketing presentations. Following Sunil’s strategic talks, Chris T P Chen explained the company’s business trends and strategies sweeping across the Asia Pacific region and enormous potential emerging in the current Indian market. Technical advancements for the Indian market were well explained by Amit Rao and Rohit Ramday, tech support managers, 3M India during their presentations. Nanda Kumar, national sales manager, 3M India stressed on the key sales figures and plans on the second day of the meet.

Cherish memories

Flown are the successful 20 years of 3M India, which was celebrated in a true spirit during the annual meet with cheers and applauses to recollect the cherish memories of the bygone period. Some of the 3M Commercial Graphics’ oldest partners shared their experiences at the meet. The partners brought alive the times they have experienced with 3M India through photographs and videos enthusing the audience to strengthen their bonds further. 3M India was pleased by the presence of its oldest distributors like Mahinder Patwari and Milind Bankley; and its steadfast partners, such as Vineet, Venkatesh and Bangara.

Partners honoured

3M India partners and achievers were honoured with various achievements and awards presented to them at the winding up of the three-day historic event. Then it was a party time as all the participants at the meet joined in to shake a leg. The partners also got to experience the rich heritage and splendour of the Pink City through an organised tour. As the royal caravan passed into the sunset, it left its trail in the sands of time, echoing 3M India’s commitment—‘Together we will win’.
