Media Prima acquires Big Tree out-of-home advertising agency

Media Prima Berhad (“MPB”)’s shareholders recently approved the proposed acquisition of Big Tree Outdoor (BTO), Malaysia’s leading out-of-home advertising company, paving the way for the group to become the largest outdoor advertising solutions provider. Pursuant to this acquisition, BTO will spearhead MPB’s entry and expansion into outdoor following the recent completion of MPB’s earlier acquisition of other outdoor companies, namely UPD Sdn Bhd and The Right Channel Sdn Bhd.
