Visual vehicle livery made lively with Metamark material

Metamark 7 Series is ideal for demanding applications where potent and durable colour really counts such as vehicle graphics on flat and curved surfaces. A long-standing relationship between SD Signs and Whitby Distillery in the UK has resulted in a distinctive new Metamark Series vehicle livery. The vehicle supports local deliveries, and strengthens a local brand’s presence across the town. Whitby Distillery required a new livery for a recently acquired Volkswagen I-Buzz, used primarily for local deliveries. While functional in purpose, the vehicle also needed to operate as a high-impact branding tool in a busy tourist destination. SD Signs refined the supplied design, creating accurate outlines and adjusting the layout to work effectively across the vehicle’s panels. A cut-and-applied approach was selected, using Metamark 7 Series coloured vinyl in gold contrasting with dark base vehicle colour. M7 Series was specified for its superior durability and finishes, which all trimmed in-house using a fleet of machines comprising a Roland plotter. (Credit: Sign Africa)
