Animal Planet TV show
uses Roland for unique graphics and designs

Hosts and graphic design team of the Animal Planet series titled ‘Tanked’ used Roland VersaCAMM VS-640 inkjet printer/cutter and Roland EGX-360 Rotary engraving machine to add unique design touches to their unconventional, larger-than-life projects. The Roland machines churned out many of the wild and elaborated fish tanks used in the show. The TV series follows the antics of two hosts Wayde King and Brett Raymer as they run one of the world’s largest aquarium companies - Acrylic Tank Manufacturing (ATM).

McDonald’s calorie count drive

Calorie information on menus in some 14,000 restaurants in the US is what McDonald’s has campaigned across the country. The world’s leading hamburger giant unfolded the outdoor signage drive ahead of a national rule which demands larger restaurant chains to disclose calorie counts and other nutrition details on menus. The state of California and cities like New York already required that calories to be clearly listed on menus.

Be seen at night only!

Cool ads located on the corners of Brunswick St and Rose St in Fitzroy, Melbourne appear with message on beer being all about golden sunshine, sea beaches, bare feet and BBQs. The extraordinary outdoor campaign titled ‘Life After Dark’ is visible only at night to promote South Australian brewing company Coopers. The illuminated display features a billboard crafted by Pose, a Chicago-based street artist and illustrator. What it takes to make the billboard different is the fact that it was UV paint, which helps the graphics show up only when the sun goes down.

Billboards run on Red Bull Surfer and Soapbox Race

Los Angles Sunset Strip wore stunning billboards which certainly lived up the popular Red Bull slogan – ‘Red Bull Gives You Wings.’ The campaigns of the high-energy drinks have an attempt to highlight energetic, fun and outdoor sports, not just as party mixer.
