Victorious roars of outdoor LIONS at Cannes Lions 2012

During the week-long 59th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, visitors could view masterpiece works of 34,301 entries from 87 countries presenting in the categories of Film, Film Craft, Press, Outdoor, Design, Cyber, Radio, Sales Promotion & Activation, PR, Media, Direct, Creative Effectiveness, Mobile, Branded Content & Entertainment, Integrated and ground-breaking Titanium creative work, in which 4843 of them were in the Outdoor Lions category. And more than 11,000 registered delegates from 90 countries, representing the advertising, digital, marketing, media, PR and design industries, convened during the festival.

And the winners are…

The Outdoor Lions winners at the international festival of creativity included McCANN Worldgroup India, Mumbai bagging a ‘Gold Lion’ trophy for its Money Transfer outdoor ad designed for their client Western Union. And the prestigious Outdoor Grand Prix Awards went to Ogilvy Shanghai, China for their magnificent ‘Cokehands’ ad for Coca-Cola and JUNG von MATT, Hamburg, Germany for ‘The Invisible Drive’ work for Daimler’s Mercedes-Benz B-Class F-Cell production.
