3M organises eventful Channel
Partners Meet 2011 in Goa


Main spotlights at the 3M Channel Partners Meet 2011 held recently in Goa fell on various key points like new trends and business growth surfacing around as per the changing demands and dynamics in the contemporary market. The two-day historic event was attended by eminent personalities from 3M teams of management as well as sales and marketing.


Crowd at the 3M Channel Partners Meet 2011 comprised a multitude of a mixed attendees rushing from different parts of the country. Supports Function team from Bengaluru and Delhi, channel partners, 3M distributors, authorised 3M converters, print houses and others from all over the country were among the big swam at the event. And the key personalities from 3M Management team included PT Mukund, executive director, Graphics & Display and Gino Farina, APAC business development manager.

Day 1

Participants on the first day were welcomed by a 3M team, post which there was an evening team-bonding programme to serve as ice-breaker among all with a lot of fun and frolics. In his speech, PT Mukund mentioned that external environment is and will be very conducive to rapid growth. He further reasoned that partners encouraged to scout for sources for working capitals and funds; profits from operations cannot fund growth. “Business development is the key, call on the existing and potential new customers!,” he added.

Day 2

Second day of the meet unfolded with a welcome note from PT Mukund followed by business presentations from Gino Farina and Sunil Muralidharan, manager, Commercial Graphics Division. An FCPA Training for all the business partners was conducted by legal counsel Smitha Goapalakrishnan from 3M Legal Team. 3M Business Partners from each zone did case presentations themed on business trends and strategies after the legal training session.

Gino Farina stressed on new technologies and business models highlighting some 3M key products including car wrap films, clear view films and others to signify the company’s fresh endeavour to push quality and business to new heights. In this concern, Sunil Muralidharan mentioned the vital importance of choosing the new products and technologies for the surging market trends and their impacts.



Awards go to...

The meet concluded with an award function for different categories for the year 2010-11 combined with an entertainment programme. The awards entitled as Eklavaya Award for Best Sales Person-Channel, Eklavaya Award for Best Support Person-Channel, Idea for Expression Awards, BOS Awards, Authorised Converter (Non-Metro Cities)- Dhruva Awards, Distributor Awards, Emerging Authorised Converter, etc were conferred on a number of companies based in different parts of the country.
