Now is the time for the Indian signage industry to corner a new market filled with the latest technology to attain global level. This is what most of the signage players in the country barely think but couldn’t make it out in a way that the idea would practically hit the Indian market. However, Glow Advertisers is one such company having a dynamic vision to furnish a new move to give a facelift to the existing signage market.

Industrial output in India grew steadfast over the last few months, marking highest in 22 months and giving hope to terminate the worst in the market. In such situation, Glow Advertisers finds signage industry looming large for a big business gain in telecommunication segment where global telecom giants are swarming upon to invest heavily. Arrival of international leaders like UniNor, NTS Telecom, Datacom and DoCuMo in India is certainty creating a new business climate in the signage sector. “The anticipation and new business level in the market will be monitored large investments from these multinational companies,” remarks Vishal giving a view that the country’s signage market is heading forward to rise up to a new height.

Quality concern

With trust on the tradition of quality, the company’s production unit expanded recently with the installation of another Jeti 3312. “There are many reasons for opting this printer at our facility; though the basic reason of being able to operate as the combined of two printers—double-size back-to-back printing and ink dot-free double strike mode printing,” explains Vishal. He adds that the telecom leader like Reliance Communications took full advantage of this high-tech Jeti printer to create their magnificent promo signage.

Glow Advertisers is one and only printer in India approved by DoCuMo when this Japanese mobile phone company first entered the Indian market.

Feasible trend

Development in the industry is substantial in regards to providing room for the latest technology to carve a new outlook. In this context, ‘thermoforming’ is now what Glow Advertisers has been eying to undertake in a broad way. In view of its scope in flatbed applications, thermoforming signage perhaps is one such new entity that could grow big in near future. “This signage is economical and applicable in various impressive ways. We are now engaging into this segment with vision to expand it soon,” says Vishal.

Recession blues

Though recession is almost out of its way in the Indian market, story of this global economic havoc still murmuring in various corners, even at Glow Advertisers. Cost-cutting measure was what it disturbed a lot in the telecommunication sector during the slowdown period. “We’d faced around 20-25 percent budget-cut during recession.

However, the volume of works we got remained the same,” says Vishal. No matter how high or low the industry keeps on falling and rising, market situation depends also on various factors related to geographical location, cultural set-up and other conditions. In addition to the emergence of big corporate players, the country’s signage market gets growing during festive season. And the Commonwealth Games 2010 in New Delhi is one big reason to receive a big gain soon in the industry.
