ColorGATE digital set to introduce next gen Version 6

Leading colour management major ColorGATE Digital has set time to introduce completely overhauled next generation production solutions: Version 6 with pioneering new features. The product to hit the market in mid-November will further enhance digital large-format printing or screen printing, outdoor production or interior design, pre-printing or fine-art reproduction.

An equally important technical innovation in Version 6 is the Ink Saver option.

Inca launches print-run controller software

The convenience of automating the scheduling and collation of versioned jobs is now seamless on Inca Digital wide-format printers with the launch of the Inca Print Run Controller (PRC) software module. With high-speed printing rates making digital production more versatile and profitable, PRC allows users to schedule the print order and produce print jobs quickly and simply to prevent RIP and workflow bottlenecks, streamline production, reduce operator error and reduce post-print collation requirements.

“The introduction of PRC is another change in the capabilities of the margin for error”, says Linda Bell, CEO, Inca adding that the software module is ideal for users of Inca Onset, S20 and Spyder machines where speed no longer has to be sacrificed when variable images and versioning are incorporated into a print run.




Arlon print media available in short rolls

Arlon, a leader in manufacturing and marketing of high-quality pressure sensitive cut vinyl, flexible substrates, print media films and so on, has announced the availability of new short roll print media products. The company wants to provide its customers with the option to buy shorter rolls and have the ability to buy what they need.

The new short roll products available in 54”x 20 yards are DPF 6000XRP and DPF 6000X Cast Vehicle Wrap Vinyl and Series 3220/3230 Overlaminate. And also in the range include DPF 2400 Printable Reflective Vinyl (48.5”x 10 yards) and Series 3200 Optically Clear Overlaminate (54”x10 yards). The company’s new line of short roll products is a strategic move to understand the customers’ needs to minimise their investment.




Hexis stages new cast vinyl at viscom, Paris

Recent viscom sign show in Paris previewed two new cast vinyl series for car wrapping applications. The new HX30000 series saw the addition of 2 Variochrome versions presented with demos on an Aston Martin DBRS9 GT3 race car. The 2 shade shift colours, a mother-of-pearl white and an iridescent purple, are cast vinyl films with colour variable pigments carrying a solvent-based adhesive and a structured PE liner with Hex’Press technology that allows convenient air egress during application.




Arlon launches new website

Arlon, manufacturer and marketer of a wide array of high-quality products for digital imaging and signage, has launched a new website www.arlon.com.
