PAMEX 2017 set to be a bigger bang!

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thakeray
inaugurated PAMEX 2015
Building on the success of its 2015 edition, PAMEX 2017 is now all set to bring a bigger bang. Organised by All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) in association with Print-Packaging.com (P) Ltd, this iconic trade expo is now only six months away. After its accomplishment in the last edition, when the show was shifted to Mumbai, PAMEX is promising to be bigger and better than before. “Barely six more months to go, we are striving to get more companies on board and will make all efforts to make PAMEX 2017 as huge as possible,” says Tushar Dhote, chairman, PAMEX.

PAMEX has tied up with KVN Media, co-organiser of All In Print China. In this, the latter’s expertise in the Chinese printing industry is bringing benefits to PAMEX and plan has been chalked out to have China Pavilion of more 1,000 sq m in PAMEX 2017. “As our printing industry is expanding in every single passing year, we have more overseas companies looking for stronger presence in India. This year, PAMEX 2017 promises to showcase the very best the industry has to offer,” mentions Tushar.

To make the brand aware among all, the team PAMEX keeps participating in key expos in India and abroad, such as drupa, LabelExpo India, PRINTPACK India, Sino Corrugated & Sino Folding Carton, China Print, among others. A series of promotional campaign has been set to kick off with an International Media Week in New Delhi in August. The event will see international media and associations from several Asian and African countries rubbing shoulders with their Indian counterparts. The discussions will focus on developments in the present Indian print industry to provide an opportunity for the exhibitors to announce fresh developments and their plans for PAMEX 2017.

Extensive promotional road shows for PAMEX 2017 have been scheduled to unfold across 50 key cities/towns in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. At the regional level, the promotional events have been planned to organise in Pathankot, Lucknow, Indore, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Chennai. PAMEX will also go to trade events in the neighbouring Bangladesh (Dhaka) and Sri Lanka (Colombo).

Neetu Arora, director, Print-Packaging.com (P) Ltd, says ‘online visitor registrations’ are going well now, better than what they expected at this stage. “In December, I had said we expect a 100 percent increase in visitors’ footfalls this year. But it looks like we will surpass that expectation,” she adds. PAMEX 2017 will be organised from December 18-21 at Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre, Goregaon East.
