Groundbreaking Z-Series, super-slim 8 mm thick sign frames, were born out of a bilateral effort of Sandeep Bhutani of ColourMate Digital and Kapil Arora of Smart Lite Electronics who eventually formed e-LITE team launching the first-of-its-kind signage products in India. A value addition to their existing range of slim sign frames, introduced just a few months back, resulted in this elegant Z-Series frames in four different sizes. The main features of this signage are slimness, low power consumption, low maintenance, environment friendly and long life. Further a personalised logo or branding can be done by engraving. “Once the branding is done, no other company can misuse the signage frame by replacing the translites,” says Sandeep adding that it has been quite a common practice for signage companies picking up any available unbranded frames for displays.

Of course, tailored-made Z-Series helps many companies prevent from the misuse of their sign frames by others. In the same time, some corporate players distribute the branded frames to their clients as part of promotion programmes. The similar competitive frames were shipped to India without guaranteed assurance from their overseas manufacturers, but it is e-LITE whose fervent quality control team makes sure of all responsibility for any defects in the end products. The company really boasts of its technical as well as mechanical engineering support team.

Suitable signage

Stylishly designed for use in all sorts of indoor purposes, Z-Series is considered to be one of the best ever entries in this category in the Indian signage market. “In terms of sales volume, the product is just in the trial stage, sending samples to a number of corporate clients,” says Sandeep. He adds that people now begin to realise the prospects of this new generation innovative signage frame having a life span of up to 10-12 years when using it eight hours a day. Colourmate Digital has been appointed as distributor for Delhi/NCR and Satyam Plastics for North India.

Using surface mounted devices (SMD), Z-Series frames are developed with PCB mounting in an indigenous way. In-store retail companies and others from different industrial segments, such as hospitality, hotels, airports, etc find Z-series a new zeal to display their products, programmes and services in the most impressive ways.

Broader aspect

“In order to further magnify the existing limitations in frame sizes, we have been doing R&D on the products to design bigger ones as per the clients’ requirement,” mentions Kapil. He adds that they have developed around 80-90 samples checking whether lux level of the embedded LEDs could travel in a right distribution. Z-Series is an amalgamation of different technical aspects, based on the theory of optical physics, applied on a compact product comprising LED, acrylic sheet and the technology of how light configures from one corner to another. Now, it is e-LITE’s vision to introduce bigger versions of this slim sign frame to shine in a big way sooner than later.
