Ever growing signage market of India is still in infant stage as the industry has to grow to a certain level in terms of infrastructure and technologies. Now the opening of Aditya Haining Xianxu Polymer Pvt Ltd, a unit of S Aditya Impex Pvt Ltd to lead the way of flex manufacturing in the subcontinent will be a big milestone for India. This initiative will be one of the biggest achievements in the history of Indian signage industry. If it comes to counting the total number of flex manufacturers in India, the figure will be just ‘two’ and Aditya Haining Xianxu Polymer is one of them.

Bhiwadi plant

The root of Aditya Impex Pvt Ltd dates back to 1997 with incredible trade records in a wide rage of signage materials. After a long way of success in the trade, the company eventually switched over to flex manufacturing with its production plant opened in an area of two acres in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. Aditya Haining Xianxu Polymer Pvt Ltd will be the only manufacturer in India with a technical collaboration with the Chinese company Haining Xianxu Polymer. “A team of experts from our partner Chinese company will give us technical support. This support in the form of training will continue for six months till our staff get full and independent commands over the operations of the machines,” said Sanjiv Jain, CEO, Aditya Haining Xianxu Polymer Pvt Ltd.

Keeping a big vision for expansion in near future, the Bhiwadi plant will kick off its production in two different phases. “In the first phase, we would order PVC and fabrics from China and PVC Calendaring will come in our second phase,” mentioned Sanjiv adding that the company will open regional dealer network all over India. “In every big city there will be 2-3 dealers and one each in all small towns,” he announced. Along with Sanjiv are Shital Jain, MD and Gagan Bisht, Director Marketing as key persons in the league of Aditya Haining Xianxu Polymer Pvt Ltd.

Grand qulity

Having been engaged in the business of flex imports from China over the last 12 years, the company incepted its business exclusively with vinyl, which was followed by the addition of other activities, such as lamination, solvent, flex, etc as per the changes (developments) taking place in the market. “Giving an impetus to our gradual trade expansion, we planned to launch this flex plant in Bhiwadi under the brand name +Add Graphics,” said Sanjiv.

“We have kept two objectives in mind when the idea of launching a flex manufacturing unit in India came in our agenda. First, the quality of the product (flex) can be precisely controlled if manufactured in front of our eyes. And the second is ‘cost saving’ that we spend inclusively more while importing from China,” stated Sanjiv.

Market watch

In a country like India whose signage sector is now growing in rapid pace, Aditya Haining Xianxu Polymer Pvt Ltd determines to meet optimum market demands of flex materials. “Our aim is not to manufacture the best quality that might be suitable to a specific target customers. Our product line will deliver all quality levels that could meet every customer’s demand in the Indian market,” said Sanjiv. Commenting on the current Indian signage market where more than 50 flex importers are mushroomed around, Sanjiv truly said that the volume of flex (media) demands is not yet fulfilled in the country. And the north and south Indian markets are the priority areas whereupon the company will first make a thrust.

Product line

This unit of the company will manufacture frontlit and backlit flex media in the onset. The frontlit media will be under the range from 260 to 440 gsm and quality of backlit products will be in 500-610 gsm. “However, there is no limitation within our production range. In the backlit category, we would produce the product as per the demand in the market,” stated Sanjiv. Endeavouring to hit the market with its flagship flex product line latest by mid-July this year, Aditya Haining Xianxu Polymer Pvt Ltd has set everything ready for the grand beginning.
