With 31 years of experience in the industry, Harish Goswamy founded the company in the year 1994. It was the time when the company started mainly as a trading company. However, within a year, they set up manufacturing plant in partnership with Reactive Dyes, Pigments and Salt Free Dyes. Soon after that they opened a separate unit in Vadodara for manufacturing dye-intermediates to support the dye manufacturing unit.

In the year 1996, A.T. Inks mastered Reverse Osmosis and other purification techniques and started to offer their products to the inkjet world for making inks. In 2002, the company ventured into manufacturing inks for wide-format printing industry with the introduction of pigmented inks. In the following year, they introduced solvent-based inks for XAAR and Spectra printheads. Their extensive R&D yielded a new range of products in 2006—eco-solvent inks specifically for EPSON printheads. In 2009, A.T. Inks introduced the first generation UV inks and inks using solvents from 100 percent renewable energy sources. Latest in their portfolio is the Hexxa Grade.
