ColorJet showing FABJET-DUO
and POLO TURBO at APPPEXPO 2016

ColorJet Group, one of the largest manufacturers of large-format digital printers in India, will be conducting live demo of its FABJETDUO and the POLO TURBO at the 24th Shanghai International Ad & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition (APPPEXPO), to be held from July 05-07 in Shanghai. To be flaunted in Hall 3, Booth A-0842, FABJET-DUO boasts ‘Power of Two’ in one printer equipped with a dual ink supply system that gives PSPs the freedom to choose between any two of the three inks—Reactive, Disperse and Pigment—just by pushing a button. Such features make FABJET-DUO an extremely versatile textile printer.

Whereas the POLO TURBO is a high speed industrial grade solvent printer, built on a heavy duty structure. The printer’s independent drive technology makes each nozzle running independently to achieve high-speed production speeds of up to 2,800 sq ft/hr, while also delivering high quality outputs and reliability, in low running costs. Capable to deliver graphics in 1,440 dpi, POLO TURBO accepts media width up to 3300 mm, with a maximum thickness of three mm and compatible with varied range of media including SAV, PVC banner, backlit film, window film and solvent-based fabrics.

Pavan Gupta, director, ColorJet Group, says, “We believe in introducing stable and efficient technologies to our customers in low cost of ownership, thus help them boost profitability. Shanghai International Ad & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition, according to Pavan, is an important platform for ColorJet to introduce new technology advancements and solutions.

Ricoh displays its wide-format capabilities at Sign Today, Chennai

Sign Today, an international show for indoor & outdoor advertising, was recently held from April 22-24, 2016 at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai. Ricoh India displayed its wide format capabilities at the show. The machines on display included Ricoh Pro L4160 and L4130, which garnered huge interest from the visitors. RICOH Pro L4130/L4160 wide format colour printer is designed to produce brilliant signs, banners, wraps,POS displays and more with real-life reproduction quality across today’s most innovative substrates.

From outdoor and indoor signage, retail POS and POP, exhibition and event graphics and vehicle wraps and wall coverings, the machine can handle all. They offer superior-quality printing and colour matching across a wide variety of media.

Ricoh goes beyond basic with up to six-colour process printing, adding orange and green to the standard CMYK setup, so one can have more colour options and increased color gamut for exceptional results that pop on any surface. One can even print with white ink – think printing on clear substrates – and use it as a base colour for the best image quality on both sides.

The printers use aqueous latex inks that print on a wide range of media. These highly durable inks can weather any storm – literally – on almost any substrate, including plastic, vinyl, textile, clear film, backlit materials and more. A water-based ink containing resin, latex generates little VOC making special ventilation equipment unnecessary.
