Opening of its Indian office in Bengaluru is Zund Systemtechnik AG's firm commitment towards tapping the growing South Asian market. Housed in a two-storied building of 2000 sq ft area which incorporated a state-of-the-art facility, this newly opened demo centre is designed to showcase Zund's complete design and cutting solutions. The Zund demo centre in Bengaluru is a strategic corner where a complete range of Zund machines (cutting solutions) for the display, packaging and other related markets will be put on showing to its customers. Zund India will provide a comprehensive demo, training and test facilities for new prospects in the region. This centre would also support the sales activities and provide service gearing up to respond the demands and expectations of customers.
First choice
At the Open House in Bengaluru, Mike Zund, CEO, Zund Systemtechnik AG said, "We are happy to establish our new office to support our existing and future customers." He emphasised that the new subsidiary will re-confirm that Zund cutting system is the 'first choice in digital cutting' in the area. In this context, Sanjib Baruah, country manager, Zund India remarked that with the high-quality Swiss product supported by the business partners and competent team in India, the Zund vision will be pervaded. Also announced by Mike was Zund Knowledge Centre in Bengaluru which aims at educating the market segments on digital and finishing concepts.
Success story
By 2012, Zund witnessed reasonable success with nearly 100 installations across the country. More than 25 years ago, Zund Systemtechnik began redefining digital cutting by installing 17,000 systems worldwide and receiving multiple awards for its cutting solutions which have eventually become synonymous with high performance, modularity and productivity.
