ColorJet India offers opportunity
to switch to ‘green’ at Media Expo 2018



The future of graphic art printing is going to decide by ColorJet India in the coming Media Expo 2018 organising from 22-24 at BEC, Mumbai. The company is a gamut of ‘green’ printing technologies, demonstrating at line of future ready printers, viz. VULCAN, SOFTJET and POLO HQ. VULCAN is an eco-friendly UV printer with zero VOC, which can run at the speed of 32m RTR. Fabric printer SOFTJET is featured with diverse technologies for soft signage printing. In the meanwhile, POLO HQ is equipped with ROHS eco-solvent inks and Greentech Technology. Visitors looking for switching to Green Printing may drop in at Booth D-10 in Hall 3 during the expo.



Graphtec announces major software upgrades


Following a worldwide agreement recently concluded between SAi, Graphtec Corporation in announces its standard with a choice of three newly created software packages. Based on the hugely popular FlexiSIGN family of design and production software, the new packages comprise the Graphtec Pro Studio, Graphtec Pro Studio Plus and Cutting Master 4 programmes that collectively deliver a host of new design and production enhancements. This means owners of Graphtec cutters, including primarily the latest FCX2000 flatbed and the flagship FC8600 and CE6000 roll-fed, will now have free access to a choice of powerful and multi-featured new software options. These are compatible with 30 different popular file formats (including AI, CMX, EPS and DXF) and supported by the latest Version 6 of Graphtec’s proprietary ARMS (Automatic Registration Mark Sensing) system for optimum cutting accuracy.



EPSON SureColor SC-F2100 DTG offers new features


The new EPSON SureColor SC-F2100, which is replacing the existing SC-F2000 model, has been designed with capability to make high-quality full colour prints on a range of items including, fabric displays, T-shirts, sweatshirts, polo shirts and tote bags. It offers a host of enhancements and new features including improved speed and reliability, and the ability to create your own print designs using Epson’s Garment Creator software. The printer provides a complete Epson solution including printer, print head, ink, software and warranty, meaning the user can be assured that all parts have been designed and extensively tested to work optimally together. The DTG printer offers speedier results than its predecessor, with additional fast print modes and improved ink circulation for quicker start-up, and incorporates improved screening for smoother reproduction of images and a wider gamut than the previous model.



Imaginarium in Mumbai demonstrates
India’s first HP 3D printer



Mumbai-based Imaginarium, one of the leaders in advanced manufacturing solutions, has showcased India’s first commercial HP 3D printer, HP Jet Fusion 3D 4200 printing solution, demonstrating its disruptive prototyping and manufacturing capabilities as well as outlining their go to market strategy as one of the first reselling HP partners of the product in India. Imaginarium is also the first customer of the system in the country and the machine is installed at Imaginarium’s state-of-the- art Additive Manufacturing facility in Mumbai. HP Inc. launched the Jet Fusion 3D printing solution commercially in the country on January 17, 2018. During the live demonstration, Atit Kothari, business development – leadership team at Imaginarium, said, “We are proud of being on the forefront of the 3D Printing technology revolution and our partnership with HP for its first commercial launch is a logical step in that direction. According to Imaginarium, the HP Jet Fusion 3D 4200 is one of the most user-friendly machines in the market. They would be targeting the entire manufacturing spectrum including auto, appliances, electronics, healthcare and graphic art as well.

solutions double the ‘speed’ and half the ‘time’
