FUJIFILM India has recently
announced the joining of Yasunobu
Nishiyama San as its managing
director. He is based in the company’s headquarters in Gurgaon for
India operations. Before joining FUJIFILM India, Yasunobu was
associated with FUJIFILM Malaysia in the capacity of the same post
and he carries experience of more than 25 years. It has been assured
that his dynamic work ethics and deep understanding of the industry
would provide a perfect foundation to take FUJIFILM India to a
leadership level across various verticals.
In an exclusive
chat with
Sign &
Graphics, Yasunobu
Nishiyama San said,
“When I first went
to Malaysia in 2010,
little about UV
wide-format printing
was seen around.
But it picked up
aggressively in the
year 2013. I expect
the same in India too
and hopefully our
cost-effective quality
products would change the mindset of
the industry people in the country.”
FUJIFILM India has also announced
the appointment of SM Ramprasad as
assistant vice president. Most recently
Ramprasad was associated with Epson
India as GM-consumer & commercial
products group. Having experience of
more than 20 years in the industry,
Ramprasad brings a wealth of industry

With a highlight of the key focus areas,
such as conventional graphic art,
digital press solution, SM Ramprasad
mentioned about the tremendous
opportunities accumulating in the largeformat
area. “Now, we look forward to
capturing two types of customers who
have already experienced FUJIFILM
machines in one way or the other –
conventional and photo printers – both
are on the same crossroad,” he affirmed,
adding, “Conventional printers look out
for brand solutions right from
brochures to larger graphics. Similarly,
photo printers or traditional signage
players are now in pursuit of
innovative printing solutions compatible
with flexible range of media or
substrates.”
With the new shift in leaderships,
FUJIFILM India is now aggressively
focusing on the graphic arts division to
provide Indian customers breakthrough
products and explore new opportunities of

pioneers to manufacture quality inks from
