Ipex South Asia strengthens presence in India

Ipex South Asia, the Indian counter part of the international printing show Ipex, that is held after every four years in Birmingham, UK, is all set to be held at the India Expo Center, Expo XXI in Greater Noida (near New Delhi) from October 24-27, 2007. The exhibition will feature companies representing the best that the international and Indian printing world has to offer to the South Asian market.

The show has received an extremely positive response from both the international and domestic printing fraternity. With still over 3 months to go until the show, exhibition space in two of the halls has completely sold out and the remaining space is now limited, even with the recent addition of a fourth hall. IIR Exhibitions Ltd, the organizers of the show, are confident that exhibition space will be sold out well before the exhibition commences in late October.

The exhibition strongly supported by AIFMP, already has over 140 Indian and international players participating with many more in the pipeline. Almost all of the major brands, including Canon, Xerox, HP, Epson, and Monotech have confirmed their presence. Some of the other prominent exhibitors include KBA, Prakash Offset, Micro Inks, The Printers House, IMPZ, Morgana, Bottcher, Redlands, BST Sayona and Cosmo Films.

The state-of-the-art venue complements the event with ultra modern facilities and other advanced amenities. To make it easy for visitors to travel to Expo XXI, the organizers are also providing a free shuttle service to and from the center of Delhi.

As per Trevor Crawford, exhibition director, Ipex South Asia, “The exhibition will offer the entire graphic arts industry an excellent opportunity to participate and share information across regions, enabling graphic arts professionals to take full advantage of the very latest technology to help develop their business opportunities.”

Exhibitors at Ipex South Asia 2007 will represent all aspects of the graphic arts process, including pre-press, press manufacturers (including digital presses, newspaper presses), post-press, converting and packaging, consumables and used machinery. They will represent countries from around the world including the UK, Germany, Belgium, Russia, Singapore, USA, UAE and China amongst others

Ipex South Asia will provide an exclusive platform for exchange of information, views, news and technology between the international and Indian printing industry. The need for this has been strongly felt for many years, as India being one of the largest players in the printing industry has not been given the ideal platform for exchange of such importance in the past.

One can expect visitors not only from India but also from Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, UAE and East Africa.

The event is strategically placed between Dusherra and Diwali, the time which is considered to be the most auspicious time for new business and trade in India. The event will also mark a substantial boost to the fourth quarter of the financial year for the exhibiting companies as well as the entire printing industry.

The show is organized by IIR Exhibitions Ltd in close association with an Indian counterpart, Expomedia Events India. Both companies have created a strong reputation for themselves over the years and have carried out a large amount of research and groundwork blending their local knowledge and International expertise seamlessly in order to bring together an event of this magnitude.

The Ipex South Asia organizing team is continually keeping its’ exhibitors informed on the developments of the exhibition. A Briefing Day organized in the month of March was one such opportunity created by the team, which was received very positively by the exhibitors. For more info, visit www.ipexsouthasia.com
