Colors Digital India (CDI) unveils new UV RTR printer

Perfectly designed and engineered under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, Colors Digital India (CDI) has unveiled an all new CDI UV Roll-to-Roll printer with RICOH Gen6 printhead. It is configured for white and varnish inks, demonstrating for the first time at Sign India 2025 Chennai where trade visitors during the show can have first-hand experience of the new UV printer.

Colors Digital India (CDI) boasts a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant at Kasna Industrial Area in Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR, where manufactured a wide portfolio of solvent, eco-solvent, and UV printers with latest features, printheads, configurations, and capabilities. New out of the portfolio is the CDI UV Roll-to-Roll printer, which is equipped with RICOH Gen6 printhead and configured to enhance graphic prints using white and varnish inks to go beyond CMYK.

Tejinder Singh, Director of Colors Digital India (CDI) Pvt. Ltd., says, “This newly developed CDI UV Roll-to-Roll is the latest model in its class from the line of our UV printers. Capable to operate at the speed of 150sqft/hr, compatibly printing on a broad array of unconventional materials including self adhesive vinyl (SAV), fabric, backlit flex, transparent film, translite, and others, this all new CDI UV Roll-to-Roll delivers graphics in sharp textures and special colours. Tejinder mentions that the new printer is designed to handle up to 10-ft roll media.
