FESPA 2025 Berlin sees surging of Asian presence

Widely hailed as a success, the recent FESPA 2025 Berlin witnessed both exhibitors and trade visitors reporting a highly engaged and productive show. Among the engaging group of exhibitors at the show were a host of companies from Asia, particularly from China and India, whose exhibits highlighted significant crowd-pulling machines, materials, latest innovations, and technologies across various printed and non-printed signage, graphic arts solutions, and related applications.

Four days of the FESPA 2025 Berlin, with its co-located events including European Sign Expo and Personalisation Experience, at Mess Berlin in Germany, brought together a total of around 600 exhibitors across various domains encompassing screen and digital printing, inks, media, interior decors, wall graphics, LED-based solutions, and personalisation. Even a handful of new launches including hundreds of latest & upgraded machines were major attractions, highlighting latest innovations.

At the show, increasing number of Chinese manufacturers of machines, materials, and related solutions made instant impact. The exhibitors were making notable inroads in the European market though such presence in the landmark show. Nevertheless, most of the Chinese firms which shone significantly at FESPA 2025 Berlin have been emerging as formidable players witnessing considerable emergence on the international stage, marking increasing footprints in the offshore markets, with demanding products and solutions.

Presence of the increasing number of Chinese companies at the show is a striking indicator of their overall growth and expansion in terms of new products, trendy products, and innovative solutions as well as their sizeable global market presence. A source reveals that FESPA 2025 Berlin had marked a noteworthy increase of Chinese exhibitors across all segments, almost double as compared to the number recorded in the previous edition of the show in 2024.

On the other side, through there were imperative presence of some prominent companies from India, traffic from the country to the show this year was hampered due to the apprehension caused by the recent India-Pakistan war. The conflict froze trades in the signage market in the subcontinent. Trade visitors from the country to the landmark FESPA show in Berlin trimmed down due to many issues, viz. visa, travel restriction, etc. The war time, even though short lived, had dreadfully affected the signage market which however is recovering steadily now.
