The printers are: an all new Solvent printer with RICOH Gen5 and Gen6 printheads and two new UV DTF printers.
Colors Digital India (CDI), one of India’s leading manufacturers of solvent, eco-solvent, and UV printers as well as other machines including DTF printers, is introducing an all new CDI Solvent printer with RICOH Gen5 and Gen6 printheads with 6pL (picolitre) drop size. “This latest CDI Solvent is an upgraded model with many advanced features and capabilities,” mentions Tejinder Singh, Director of Colors Digital India (CDI) Pvt. Ltd.
Tejinder further mentions that the new Solvent printer with the RICOH Gen5 and Gen6 printheads has tremendous advantages for print service providers who are looking for faster speed and high-volume production. “We are demonstrating the machine at the Media Expo 2025 Mumbai. Visitors at the show can have first-hand experience of the new CD Solvent’s capability at our stall during the show.”
An upgraded version of its predecessor Gen5, RICOH Gen6 printhead in the new CDI Solvent printer is designed to achieve faster printing by increasing the ignition frequency. With such advancement of the printheads and other configurations, newly introduced CDI printer maintains high-speed and high-quality print outputs. In this, Tejinder mentions that the new printer has a robust structure for stable operation, guaranteeing durable and extended service life.
Alongside the new solvent printer, CDI is introducing two new UV DTF printers at Media Expo Mumbai 2025. “DTF printing is gaining ground in the market, driven by the new trend of customisation and the technology’s ability to produce vibrant and high-end graphics on various surfaces. The technology has become a popular choice for those in the textile, apparel, merchandise, and such domains. “In response to it, we introduce the two new UV DTF models, one capable to produce 3D effects and textures,” informs Tejinder.
Tejinder further informs that the new CDI UV DTF printers are suitably designed for both small-scale and large-scale productions, using a broad range of materials including cotton, polyester, and even luxury stocks like silk, leather, among others. He adds, “Both the new CDI UV DTF printers, one is 3D models, are suitably designed for various applications beyond wearable garments. The machines can create promotional items for the signage manufacturers and many others.”
According to Tejinder, both the new CDI UV DTF printers are perfect for mass customisation as well. He states that the 3D model can enable businesses to go for customising unique designs with special 3D effects at the same speed as uniform prints. Another added advantage of both the new UV DTF printers is their ease-of-use features when producing vibrant and detailed graphics quick and easy.
CDI has a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant at Kasna Industrial Area in Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR, where produced arrays of machines by tuning into the ongoing market demands, persistently introducing latest and upgraded models. (CDI is at Stall M-36 & M-39 in Hall-6 in Media Expo Mumbai 2025)
