India’s first MIMAKI JFX600-2513 installed at Gate 7 India in Pune

Silicon Infotech, an authorised distributor of MIMAKI in western Indian region, has installed the first MIMAKI JFX600-2513 in the country at Gate 7 India, a global specialist in manufacturing industrial decals and printed components with its headquarters at Gateshead, UK. The company’s Pune facility plays an integral part in Gate 7’s international growth strategy. Backed by a team of 30 staff, the facility is equipped with a fleet of MIMAKI printers of different sizes and configurations, all supplied by Silicon Infotech.

“MIMAKI has been our trusted technology when it comes to printing decals and Silicon Infotech a trustworthy supplier. All our facilities in the UK (Gateshead) and US (Pennsylvania) are equipped with MIMAKI printers, which have been running efficiently and innovatively printing industrial decals over the last 8 to 10 years. In India, we are quite new but bolstering our vinyl-based decal printing with MIMAKI printers,” says Ajay Kumar Dutt, Plant Head, Gate 7 India Pvt Ltd. He adds, “After all, we are proud of being the first owner of the advanced JFX600-2513 UV flatbed printer.”

JFX600-2513 is capable to print on media up to 2.5×1.3m in size, 60mm thick, at the maximum speed of 200sqm/h. In addition to this newly installed UV-LED flatbed inkjet printer, Gate 7 India’s facility is equipped with an array of other MIMAKI printers, viz. three units of JV330 Series high-speed dual head eco-solvent printers, and a 5-ft UJV330 UV roll-to-roll print & cut machine. “Our major customers are from the agriculture and construction sectors. JLG, JCB, Bobcat, Sunbelt Rentals, Volvo, Hitachi, Komatsu, Kuhn, to mention a few, are some of our key customers,” mentions Ajay Kumar.
