Agfa Anapurna Ciervo finds its first owner in UK
Bath-based Freestyle Designs, a leading sign maker engaging in execution of new-age signage solutions, has become the UK customer of the newly launched Agfa Anapurna Ciervo H3200 printer, which was unveiled earlier this year. This ‘early adopter’ investment secures the company as an Agfa Beta site, receiving additional technical support that will help rigorously test the flexibility and commercial benefits of this powerful new printer. This new printer is a versatile hybrid wide-format inkjet printer, which is engineered for handling 3.2m print width on broad range of rigid and roll media for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Established in 2008 by Jayson Godridge, who entered the industry after finishing school, Freestyle Designs is currently operating at a 6,500 sq ft site on Locksbrook Road Trading Estate in Bath where and Jayson and his team of 10 operate. Jayson first saw the new Anapurna Ciervo machine under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in late 2023. Impressed by its proposed new features, he decided to wait for its launch before investing in the machine. In January this year, his team revisited Antwerp to see the machine in its Alpha form. Following a few virtual meetings, they placed their order for the machine in March, and it was installed on their premises just recently.
