Silicon Infotech marks two latest additional installations in Mumbai
Silicon Infotech is a household name in distributorship of MIMAKI printers in Western Indian regions and other products like HandTop machines and Kala UV DTF systems. The company boasts a clientele in Mumbai which repeatedly purchase machines from them. Sign & Graphics spots two latest additional installations of machines by the company’s two regular customers in the city.
Multi Vision Digital Solution, one of the prominent print service providers (PSPs) located in the Central Line of Mumbai at Bhandup (West) and Allwyn Digital Photo Lab at Andheri (East) in Mumbai Suburbs, yet another prominent and one of the oldest PSPs in the city, have upgraded their production facilities with the latest installations of new and additional machines from Silicon Infotech.
The machine which Silicon Infotech has installed at Multi Vision Digital Solution is an advanced and highly-versatile HandTop HT-2512 UV flatbed. Having been one of the biggest and regular customers of Silicon Infotech, Multi Vision Digital Solution has so far invested in six machines from the one-stop supplier. HandTop HT-2512 being the latest in their portfolio, the company has adopted this UV flatbed work force to elevate productivity and graphic print quality to a whole new level.
“We should say amazing! This newly installed HandTop HT-2512 is certainly an amazing UV system capable to deliver wonderful graphics that really stand out,” remarks Jay Gupta of Multi Vision Digital Solution. He adds that the UV flatbed printer will definitely change the game they play with UV graphics. It features the latest RICOH Gen6 printhead with Linear Motor.
When it comes to counting on the machines which Silicon Infotech had already supplied to Multi Vision Digital Solution before this HandTop HT-2512, it consists of a line of MIMAKI printers, viz. MIMAKI JV330-160, which is a latest system known for its high-speed in eco-solvent category in the industry. Its unique capacity includes the XY Slitter & Media Changer function wherein three different sizes of media can be loaded at a time.
Another key MIMAKI printer which Multi Vision Digital Solution had already installed is a MIMAKI UCJV300, JV-150, a highly advanced single-head UV roll-to-roll print & cut eco-solvent printer, accompanied by a MIMAKI UJF-6042 MKII e, an A2 size UV flatbed with Rotary Attachment which the company primarily uses for corporate gifting applications. Further, Multi Vision Digital Solution had also purchased a high-speed 24-inch Kala UV DTF printer with EPSON i3200 printheads around a year ago.
Offering out-of-the-box print graphics over the last 40 years, Allwyn Digital Photo Lab has also been a bona fide client of Silicon Infotech. The company had already invested in a couple of MIMAKI UJF-6042 MK IIe printers. Kirti Karia, Proprietor of Allwyn Digital Photo Lab, says they have been fully using the advanced MIMAKI printers for corporate gifting applications. “We are really grateful to Silicon Infotech for the machines and all-time support they provide,” he remarks, adding that the latest from the supplier is a Kala UV DTF printer. Kirti is now joined by his son Jay Karia in the business.
When asked about the reason for the company’s latest investment in the new UV DTF printer, Jay quips, “New revenue!” Certainly, this newly installed 24-inch high-speed Kala UV DTF production printer with EPSON i3200 printhead is perfectly designed for producing ever demanding personalised products with which Allwyn Digital Photo Lab is now gearing up to tap new and unexplored market segments.
