Inkyideas relies on Pixeljet for high-speed production

Kalyani-based Inkyideas has been a prominent print service provider in East India, serving both urban and rural clients who are overjoyed with the graphics produced on a line of Pixeljet printers. The company’s machine portfolio predominantly consists of Pixeljet printers manufactured by Monotech Systems.

Inkyideas has been engaging in digital large-format printing and extensive execution of turnkey outdoor campaigns for big brands throughout West Bengal and neighbouring areas over the last two decades. The company has its main unit in Kalyani that covers the central and south West Bengal and Odisha, while its Raiganj unit is set for covering North Bengal, Assam, Bihar and Jharkhand. The next step expansion plan of Inkyideas is to open its third unit in Odisha soon.

He adds, “We kick-started our relation with Monotech Systems around three years ago with the purchase of a Pixeljet Prime solvent, which is currently running productively in one of our facilities without wear and tear.” He further mentions that they increasingly trust in the versatility and advancement of Pixeljet, so is why they have subsequently invested in two more advanced models one after another—Pixeljet Impulse UV flatbed & Pixeljet UV miniRTR.

Pixeljet Prime is ideally a very high-speed solvent printer equipped with KM 512i printhead, powerful IR dryer and capable to run at 210 sq m/h for producing graphic up to 1440 dpi. Then the Pixeljet Impulse printer is a capable UV flatbed to deliver impressive print quality with media versatility to take on any rigid material. He adds, “Pixeljet miniRTR with RICOH industrial grade printheads is yet another UV printer that we consider as a game changer for us when it comes to printing on variety of signage and decor applications.” At the speed of 150 sq ft/hr, Pixeljet miniRTR delivers graphics in resolution of 2400 dpi.

In addition to the Pixeljet machines, Inkyideas is equipped with other high-speed ColorJet and Lotus Digital flex machines along with Konica Minolta AccurioPrint C4065 digital production press, which eventually makes the company’s production facility complete to deliver anything. Inkyideas has also engaged in a new vertical catering to digital marketing, web development and animation at Kalyani Webel IT Park.

With a team of 18 signage printing & production professionals along with 9 highly-skilled graphic designers, Inkyideas boasts a client base comprising big brands like Aditya Birla Fashion Retail, UPL, GSP, FMC, Godrej Agrovet, Universal Agro Chemicals, Rallis India, among others. “Today, we fulfil the desire and demands of our customers because of Pixeljet.
