3M Converter College in North India
The team of 3M Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division (3M IATD) and their key channel partner JN Arora Co have recently collaborated to execute Converter College in North India. At the recent Seminar on Bonding Solutions in New Delhi, the partners witnessed esteemed presence of converters from the region.
Vinay Rao, Division Country Sales Leader, 3M India, shared an overview with the converter partners about the 3M IATD strategic intent, key attractive focus market segment and strategy to win in these segments. In the meanwhile, Amit Kumar, Country Activation Marketing Leader, 3M India, cited his views on the key roles of 3M and Converters in the partnership. He focused on priority segment where they can win together. He also prioritised differentiating portfolio under Thin Bonding Tapes, Durable Labels & Foam Tapes.
The team focused on discussing bonding solutions suitable for low surface energy substrates & high temperature critical applications. Ruchi Pandey, Converter AE, 3M India, introduced three key sustainable products solutions—GPT020 DCPET, SP7202 screen printable adhesives & Primus DCTT. She also shared about lab capabilities with converter partners. Further, Manoj Shankar, AE Team Leader, 3M India, shared an overview of 3M Sustainability Initiative & key megatrends like Climate Change and Shift in Demographic & Digital World which will be driving 3M forward. The 3M AE & Sales team executed live demos of new products introduced during the sessions. The Converter College culminated with ‘Thank You’ & ‘Appreciation Note’ by 3M Channel Leader Vijay Soni who conveyed—‘Let us win at customer end with converters!’
