Vanguard installs Italy’s first VR6D-HS industrial UV flatbed at Pubblialba

Milan-based Pubblialba is the first company in Italy to install the VR6D – HS industrial UV flatbed printer from Vanguard Europe. The system now in operation at the production facilities of Pubblialba is part of a development project of the company that aims at digitizing production to respond to a dynamic industrial market that requires more and more flexibility, quality, and speed. A few weeks after signing the agreement with Vanguard Europe at Viscom Italia 2022 held in Fiera Milano City in Milan. Pubblialba has already started digital production with the Vanguard VR6D – HS flatbed system, which combines the latest RICOH Gen 6 printhead technology with a high-speed magnetic drive. Key features of the flatbed include eco-friendly LED curing technology, Industry 4.0 compliance, Durst Workflow, and Analytics software, ionization bars for eliminating electrostatic charges, 4 suction zones, 5-10-15 pL (picolitre drop) size, and a print area of up to 1.27×2.54m. Founded in 2021, Vanguard Europe is the European subsidiary of Vanguard Digital Printing Systems Corporation, based in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
