X-Rite launches i1Pro 3 spectrophotometer

X-Rite and Pantone have announced the launch of redesigned i1Pro 3 spectrophotometer, which is said to be more accurate and reliable plus faster than its predecessor. New features of the new spectrophotometer include a custom, full-spectrum LED light source for single-pass scanning; simultaneous M0, M1, and M2 measurement in a single pass while accounting for optical brighteners so operators can predict how colours will look under different lighting conditions; improved accuracy when reading smaller patch sizes (6×6 mm) twice as fast; correct calibration on ultra-bright displays with matching up to four displays to a single computer and unlimited displays connected to different computers; and optimized automated file creations.
