NEGI Sign Systems & Supplies Co, an authorised distributor of popular printers like MUTOH ValueJet, Brother in India and manufacturer of widely popular NegiJet Series printers, has recently tied up with Shanghai Docan Digital Tech Co for the distributorship of Docan printers in the South Indian market. “Everybody in India knows NEGI Sign Systems & Supplies Co for its long-standing presence in the industry, which is for more than two decades and their successful distributorship of MUTOH systems. We are impressed with their reputation and their good relationship with customers,” says Carr Liu from Shanghai Docan Digital Tech Co Ltd.

“Since our establishment in the year 2005 we have enhanced our product line from one level to another, introducing best-in-class industrial UV printers,” mentions Carr. He adds that Docan printers are doubtlessly a bit costlier than any other ordinary system, but they make them suitable for those looking for sturdy and durable systems for quality print production. Popular UV models of Docan printers available in the market include H1600-Kyocera, FRT3225 (flatbed); FR3210T-Kyocera, FR3210 (hybrid) and S3200, R3300 (RTR).

According to Carr, Docan printers are heavy systems bundled with the latest RIP and control software. “Over the last few years our machines have been increasingly adopting in the Indian market. It’s our new privilege to get partnered with NEGI Sign Systems & Supplies Co as our new distributor in the country. We respect this idea and I hope this new partnership will further enhance our footprint in India,” remarks Carr.




William D Muir appointed as new CEO of EFI

EFI announces that its Board of Directors has named William (Bill) D Muir as its new CEO. Bill was most recently the COO of Jabil, a product solutions company. His appointment was effective from October 15, 2018, when he would also join the Board of Directors. Bill succeeds Guy Gecht, who informed the Board he intended to step down as CEO upon the appointment of his successor, as EFI announced it on July 30, 2018. Guy will remain the member of the Board of Directors and will be advisor to the CEO. Bill has spent the past 25 years helping innovative, leading brands bring exceptional products to the marketplace, including launching Jabil’s Blue Sky Innovation Center. He has a background in complex engineering and manufacturing honed over progressive leadership roles at Jabil, a $22 billion product solutions company with more than 100 facilities and 170,000 employees across the globe.




Arrow Digital opens new demo centre at New Delhi

Ahmedabad-based Arrow Digital has announced the opening of a new demo cum sampling centre at New Delhi. Equipped with a range of high-end printers from EFI, OKI and others including digital label finishers, this newly opened demo centre brings delight to sales team and customers of Arrow Digital in North and East as they will no longer travel long distance to experiment product demo. Sam Patel, CEO Arrow Digital Pvt Ltd, says, “We have been swamped with demos, training, customer and corporate sampling from our demo centres from Ahmedabad and Mumbai. We have received tremendous demands from corporate players”, media suppliers and others for opening the same in New Delhi. The new Arrow Digital demo centre in New Delhi has installed an EFI VUTEk GS 3200 RTR printer, which is with White option and an EFI H1625 LED hybrid printer for mid-level production. These printers at the demo centre are designed in a way to help customers evaluate their requirement, test and evaluation before they go for final decision. In addition, the demo centre is designed for giving customers hands-on experience of the printers/machines. Prakash Chopra, Senior VP – Sales, states that clients need to feel comfortable with the investment they want to make. “Overall objective of the demo centre is to help our customers move ahead with innovative printers/technologies in the current cut-throat market,” he adds.




Demo/experience center of Arrow Digital at Mumbai

Arrow Digital, which supplies a vast array of printers like Efi-VUTEk, Reggiani, Kornit Digital, Jetrix, OKI, MCT, HIX, Anytron and many more in the Indian signage/graphic art market, has unveiled a new demo/experience center at Mumbai. The centre is located at Lower Parel in the city, displaying Efi-VUTEk H1625 LED hybrid mid-level production printer, OKI M64 low odour eco-solvent printer and OKI Pro 9000 series with white or clear spot colour. The centre is built for multiple purposes where visitors can walk in and experience live running of machines, discover various print applications such as textured/tactile printing, 3&5 layer printing, blockout and back-to-back printing. “Mumbai being the commercial capital of the country it shares the highest percentage of commercial printing sectors and corporate players.
