When signboard turns vending machine

Ideas developed by AMV BBDO, British snack food manufacturer Walkers Crisps in London has launched a series of interactive bus shelters, which is modelled quite uniquely as Twitter Powered Vending Machines. Installed inside bus shelters, staffed by Walkers ambassador Gary Lineker in virtual form, sitting inside the vending machine, the sampling outdoor campaign aims to get three new flavours in the hands of consumers all around London.



Times Square Billboard features Priyanka Chopra

All for a good cause, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has appeared on a billboard at Times Square in New York. The outdoor campaign heralded a united message of global climate change. The actress was seen alongside international celebs including popular actors like Antonio Banderas, Li Bingbing, among others. Priyanka has also shot a video for the UN Climate Change Summit with many big names including Al Gore, Alison Sudol, Bindi Irwin, Ed Norton, Michael Bloomberg and Ian Somerhalder.



IKEA shapes billboard into a rock-climbing wall

In promotion of its 30th store in France, IKEA constructs a billboard on the side wall of an apartment in Clermont-Ferrand city. Measuring nine metre high and ten metre wide, steps and strips are fitted on the billboard to allow public navigate the stylish beds, tables, sofas, cabinets and accessories put display on the billboard. UBI Bene helped device the impressive outdoor installation. Other remarkable innovations on the billboard included the illumination of a forest using LEDs to celebrate energy efficient bulbs, pitching IKEA’s 2015 catalogue as ‘cutting-edge technology’.



World’s first billboard made of cakes

Billboard making finds innovation in various off-track ways these days. In a dignified attempt to promote Mr Kipling brand, a big name of the UK’s largest cakes, pies and backed items manufacturer since 1976, JWT London recently unveiled a uniquely constructed giant billboard made entirely of tiny cakes. Constructed out of 13,360 individual Mr Kipling cakes, the billboard was situated at Westfield London in Shepherd’s Bush, which had been deconstructed within eight hours and distributed among passersby to spread joy with everyone.



Notable moments of US Open on dynamic mural

DDB New York presented tennis fans an exclusive US Open outdoor campaign titled ‘Story of the Open’ in which an artist was assigned to climb on the billboard to paint notable moments of the tournament on daily basis. The first eight instalments were interpretations of Gaël Monfis’ crushing 110 miles/hr match winner, 15-year-old Catherine ‘CiCi’ Bellis’ on-court antics and Roger Federer’s selfie with Michael Jordan. Viewers at Midtown Tunnel in New York dropped their jaws to see the fun of the mural taking shape and changing outlook every single day.
