BIESSE INDIA, a subsidiary of globally renowned Italian company BIESSE GROUP in woodworking and CNC machining technology, boasts of its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located at Nelamangala in Bengaluru. CNC routers of BIESSE are sold across India, apart from exports to overseas customers in the Middle East, Asia Pacific Region, Africa and the US. Indian connection

BIESSE started its manufacturing activity in India by moving into the state-of-the-art Bengaluru manufacturing facility of 60,000 sq ft in November 2008. In April 2010, an additional manufacturing facility of 60,820 sq ft was opened at Peenya in the city. The new facility is equipped with a huge machine shop with horizontal and vertical machining centers, punching machines, conventional machines and unit assembly stations. The facility also has a quality shop with requisite CMM devices, dedicated software for process monitoring and the entire manufacturing process follows the lean production approach. All such distinguished technical know-how ensures that every single machine that BIESSE has manufactured is adhered to international quality/standard.

Machine bases/frames and other critical components at BIESSE INDIA’s manufacturing facilities are totally fabricated and machined in-house. But some components like Electrospindle and Drives – the heart of CNC router – are sourced directly from HSD (Italy), another subsidiary of BIESSE GROUP. This ensures that the machines manufactured in India carry the same quality for which BIESSE is globally known for.

Newer models

BIESSE INDIA’s manufacturing facilities support the realisation of newer machine models like ROVER J line of flatbed CNC routers, ROVER GOLD G Gantry range, among others. Designs of the machines are an outcome of a joint collaborative effort between BIESSE GROUP (Italy) and BIESSE INDIA. ROVER J is especially designed to the needs of Indian customers in different industrial domains viz. sign makers, composite material processors, carving/furniture manufacturing professionals, etc.

On the other side, BIESSE’s ROVER J GFT model has a newer version designed exclusively in India with electrical and tangential oscillating knives supported by an optical recognition system. Such special features make the router an ideal machine for processing cardboards, rigid foam-boards, corrugated cardboards, gaskets and others.
