Avery Dennison announces innovative workshop
Avery Dennison Corporation has announced recently about the five-day training
programme, which has been scheduled to be held in Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi during
December 10-15, 2007. This workshop has been designed especially for
experienced and professional applicators - (vinyl application, wall graphics, car/
train wrap) and is to spread over two days in each city batches.
David Newman, technical marketing manager, South Asia, Avery Dennison
Australia-based in Sydney will be the trainer and the topics that would be covered include
basic training on self-adhesive films; Avery product range; brief review of Avery ICS warranty
program; theory of application with tips and tricks; and digital printing – solvent/ ecosolvent/
UV digital markets and trends, how to handle
PS material while printing digital printing/colour
management overview, and printing troubleshooting.
To make it more interesting and interactive, live demo
has also been included in the programme, which will
train in important applications nuances. It includes
preparation and cleaning of the surface; vehicle
wrapping positioning of graphics; three-dimensional
application techniques in practice; how to control
distortion of the image; and removal of (old) graphics. Entry fee to participate in it is Rs
1000/per person and other entry is only by invitation.
