Installation base of HP Latex printers has been expanding as many leading signage companies in different cities keep adopting the systems for unique and unconventional applications. Insight Print Communications, an authorised distributor of the printers, has delivered the printers to three leading signage companies, viz. UV DAX in Jammu (HP Latex 1500), Sagar Digiprints in Ahmedabad (HP Latex 3200) and Indulge Sign & Graphics in New Delhi (HP Latex 3200).

“Some time ago we were in search of a printer that can handle a range of unconventional materials such as leatherite, canvas, textile, etc. Our search ended when we came across the HP Latex 1500, which is a super-wide printer with water-based technology, perfect for high image quality and high productivity,” comments Balbir Choudhary of UV DAX. He adds that they specifically chose the printer for new applications on leatherite and textile. UV DAX works for companies like Airtel, Dish TV and other corporate biggies.

Amit Gupta of Sagar Digiprints says the installation of HP Latex 3200 in their facility has enhanced the overall quality in print outputs. “We adopt the printer for its unique features such as back-to-back print and its print quality upto 1200x1200 dpi,” he mentions. Designed for dual roll printing, HP Latex can take up-to 3.2 m roll width at 77 sq m/hr in indoor high quality mode. The printer is economical in many ways. For example, its Latex Media Saver reduces media and low-maintenance printing helps save time and cut labour costs.

The production facility of Indulge Sign & Graphics in New Delhi is already equipped with an HP Latex 360 and other printers. But the addition of the new HP Latex 3200 in the facility has boosted the overall production volume and diversity in applications. “HP Latex 3200 helps us to go for newer applications. This roll-to-roll printer is a perfect workhorse to explore new revenue streams with extensive new range of applications such as textile and leatherite,” comments Praveen Raghav of Indulge Sign & Graphics. The client list of the company consists of MI, OYO, Exide and others.
